I am extremely new to this forum, and it's my first post. Ehm, anyway... I did this piece like half a year ago, and it was drawed by hand, and then fixed up in Freehand and Photoshop...

That's pretty cool image. Anime always seems a little tricky to pull off but I think you've done a reasonable job of it. With anime style, it usually has a little more white used as highlights and can really lift the image. I would also try for a darker shadow on the bag to give it a greater colour range and increase the contrast. |

It's probably just me, but I never liked thick outlines with anime. Also, do use some highlights on the hair; increase detail of the image over all. |
