Ok, I tried my hand at coloring, and since it is technically finished, I'm posting it here instead of wip.
Please, any help or tips would be greatly appreciated. I am still a novice at PS and i basically smudged the ink lines to make them disappear on the inside.

this has a very good atmosphere. There are some problems with her anatomy though. Her boobs are wierd looking, like they dont match her ribs or muscle structure. |

Her tail looks kind of flat and not scaly enough. Maybe some stronger highlights would do the trick.
Nice abs |

Thnaks for the comments...
MM - I know her breasts are off, I saw someone do a redraw and I saw where I erred, but, I couldnt fix it without screwing up the pic.
Zorglub:Not real sure what you mean by her tail looks flat, theyre supposed to be flat. Or do you mean her lower body looks not very rounded? Most fish tails tend to flatten near the back fin, but maybe some highlights would help in the upper tail section near the midriff, thanks.
Dryfire: Saturation??? I'm not sure i know how to do that, i used multiply and screen in PS. there basically only 4 different colors in this picture, 2 on the mermaid (a green and a blue) and 2 for the background ( also a green and a blue)
what exactly is saturation and how would I turn it down? |
