Ahhh....it always feels good to make a fresh new image. This one is hot off the press, inspired by a comment a friend
made about towers in a valley. The chap is trying to get some peace and quiet before things get crazy.

I wish I could read with my eyes closed ^_^

Hehee... I'm just kidding. This image looks great, as usual. I really like the watercolor effect of the bg... very pretty.

Yet another beautiful piece.. Isric, you never cease to amaze me.. Every time I see that you've posted again, I jump right to your topic.. You are really one of the people I respect the most on this board.

Would you mind horribly if I used your Egyptian pool picture as the basis for a 3D still someday? I *love* the mood/environment in that piece...

*As I put down my book, I farted in the valley, ah....what a tender smell.*

Nice depth and overall placement, feels good.

Once again, great stuff Isric..... I really love the feeling of a light gust of wind you got going there...... done by the direction of the strokes on the knoll and the way the guy is leaning. Cheers!

Oh, I like that ! Great atmosphere to the picture. Only little nitpick, since the horiz. line is a the characters hight, the building might should have had a bit more under-perspective.

but awesome as usual.

Hey Isric, this is great work, i love your style, and this picture gives you a special mood.
Only one thig bothers me, i think the caracter's colours are too saturated.
Oh, and the perspective what Joachim just mentioned.
Overall the pic is awesome.

hi!

i love your style and portfolio, man.. yesterday i really enjoyed your website, i seems that you're always creating something new in each image you do, always innovating..

only one little question: your stuff (in the most of the pictures) has a Dreamworks or maybe a Disney (some disney) style.. are you influenced by some of this stuff or is your natural and original style?

despite of the answer, i'm in love with your work, keep on it

one thing, i dont think you are in fact 'innovating'. youre just rendering better and refining your linework. substantially. its very beautiful in its simplicity .
