Well this is a pic I did as an experiment. I usualy only ever use the paintbrush, so this pic I thought i'd go for a total airbrush pic

This is what I can up with. A little trickier than I thought. Because I wanted to get really nice gradients as you see in Dhabihs pics.

Anyway I painted this picture out of Vogue. Great magazine for cool things to paint.
I'll scan in the photoreference later if you want. They arent too similar, but I like to improvise a bit. I think Its a bit boring just to lsavishly copy a photo.

Anyway. Crits are very welcome

The eye and the highlights on the hair really caught my eye. The lips are looking really good, the upper lip seems a tad flat though. The only thing that really bothers me is the ends of the hair.
Can you post the original img?

You really do have some smooth gradients going there

It's hard to crit something like this without the photoref. But the eye looks really great and the highlights on the hair look very real! I like the close up view with the white light around her too, good stuff

Freddio: she's really beautiful.. the tones are a little off from the orig (she seems a bit yelow) and the hair is different as stated before.. but its really nice.. I love the eye...

dr . bang: The hair was simple. Just get lots of streaks with a small brush then dodge and burn.

i think her head is more tilted in the picture, because her ear is way higher up than in your painting. you gave her a mullet too

It's been a long time since I've seen one. On a footballer, no less.

I like her mullet. The detail on the top part is insane and her eye is beautiful. I like the way you did the lips, too. There's something funny about the eyebrow, as if you blocked it in and then forgot to detail that. But heck, who's going to notice?
