Looking good. nice lighting.
I didn't get a chance to see it in the WIP forum. but one thing that strikes me is the size of the hands. they are not really to small. but some bigger and more chunky hands would have complemented his charater IMHO. bigger and broader. |

Very cool pic, only a suggestion, try to add some highlights to the edges, the material of the spear looks a bit matte for me. |

Nothing to complain about that. Maybe the text is a bit too much... the guy looks very good.
Keep on working! You are on the very right way! |

That is one big chinese dude. Very nice, man. Something about his hands seems kinda whacked, but hands aren't the easiest part of the body to do. Great work! |

burnOut: Hey yo, thanks dude To be honest, the hand in it's previous position was really screwing with me and so I changed it. As for the longer blade, well, I was afraid it'd look way too big and 'out of proportion' so I made it smaller.
Dryfire, thank you! I really love ambient light
Rinaldo: wow thanks. I actually wanted to give him larger hands but I was afraid of being criticised for them being too large. Oh the irony.
hugh: Thanks heaps, the folds were the hardest part!
Gordillo: thank you, yeah the texture of the blade was very hard and I'm still not satisfied with it. I tried adding more white, but it still didn't look shiny and real. Maybe I need to add more texture?
dr. bang: Wow thanks I actually turned 17 a couple of months ago
badoili: thank you, yes I was unsure about the text. What I really wanted was to put his name in chinese, but I absolutely suck at calligraphy :P
Hugh:
green.7: thank you
Bishop_Six: thanks, I rekon the hand that is holding the weapon is really whacked, he's just not grasping it as tightly as he should. dunno how to fix it though? |

This is very well done. The light from below is spectacular. Nice effect to use. The pose and proportions seem to right on target. Great work.
