Hello everybody, loooooong time since i posted anything, i have been very busy with design work for school and didnt have much time to draw/paint.
I'm getting at it again now
here is a quick colored sketch for a character (monk) i'm playing in DD 3rd edition.
It is as finished as it will be so i can post it here :)
C&C are welcome of course :) |

No, it is interesting, especially to me, hehe.
I am a Chinese, so I am always amused when I saw foreigners paint asian figures.
My suggestion is that perhaps you can draw some moving pose, since this guy is a martial artist. He'd better not stand still.
One more thing: Chinese dont have such fancy knot on their braids, nor such shoes.
And you can creat new hair style-- seen too many braids.

the pose is boring yes, but since its a concept for showing the char to other players i thought it would be sufficient to draw him in a static pin-up pose (and easier )
well yes braids arent originals, but my char has one, with extremely long hair, he payed a wizard to have his hair grown extremely long
and for the clothes in fact he likes wearing oriental arabic loose clothing
for the knot ok i will change it its not really fitting
for the pose, im really bad (for now) at thinking dynamic poses. I could find some photo ref of fighters and use that, i will see if i have time
