Eh yeah.

There was a tread in the work in progress section ages ago that featured a male unfinished torso. Well I went ahead and did my work on it and had it lying around on my hd in b/w format for ages. Finally I took a heart and went to finish it. It turned out to be some odd camouflage-style wearing zen guy. (I have no clue what exactly zen is, but it was the first tought I had when I had to name it).

Eh enough blabber. There you go.

Please give crits and suggestions. Feel free to paint over (I would be honored).

Or just plain flame me for that piece of junk

thanks anyway.

i think the textures you used on the camo shirt and the pants look really cool. Hmm i think you should clean up the sketch a bit and bring his pants up a bit.. right now his torso is a bit too long

I like the unusual pose. I'm having problems making out what the background is, though. It kinda looks like a blurry spiderweb or something, but the subject is casting a pretty hard shadow on it like it's a close wall. I think if you defined that a little more it might make more visual sense.

I dont have a clue what the background is myself

I just made something. but you're right I should define it some more. A damage brick wall or something. I don't know yet.

About the camo patterns. I'm working on www.ns-co.net a realistic modification for Q3 and so I got lotsa patterns on my hd.

And about cleaning up the sketch. I s*ck at that. Anyone got nice tutorials on how to do that. I know dhab got one on his page, but it is not focused on "smudging" a sketch clean, is it? It's a long time ago since I read that.
