First off: Well done dhab.. but why was there a little thing on top saying host: www.maxforums.org not authorized ????
well, this image are not finished, but since i will probably not work on them anymore i am posting them in here...
i did get the idea from an image on http://www.3d-io.com/ it was only a test image i did to expand my skills, they really need expanding.......
I know that there is some things i need to sort out with the grass i used, it tiles on the left of the image...
can i have a good honest crit please....
I am going to do up an image using what i learned from this excersise, there will be a structure, a character, and lots of nice foliage in it.... but since i was working on a little job for a friend for the last 2 weeks in my spare time i will probably take about a week away from the computer to spend with my girlfriend and our 3 year old....
well anyway here is the image: |

i think its great... emm im no expert on 3d renders but it looks good it has a plastic/claymodel feel which is nice and i cant see any modelling flaws... maybe the lighting is a bit harsh but if everyone one stuck to the laws of 3d lighting it would become boring quite quickly... tree mendose work |

The only thing that looks bad to me is that the building needs some kind of weathering and erosion effects on it because, as MunkY said it looks a bit plasticy.
