Maybe he's hungry. He's quite a skinny fellow.

Maybe he wishes he were as pretty as the rest of the picture. It's a very pretty picture.

Maybe he's just getting frustrated at having nothing better than a dry twig to scratch his nose with.

If I were in a picture this pretty, I'd be bouncing around with joy.

Actually, that's a blatant lie. We both know I'd be hiding in a corner with my buddies, Bitterness and Cynicism.

Maybe his(or it a her?) S&M partner played a cruel joke on him and left him tied up like that?

Maybe his S&M partner died of a heart attack in the midst of a highly charged.. sexual act and died.. and he cant for the life him find the key to the cuffs? (by the way this scenario would more likely occur if the rat depicted here was female cuz males are more likely to suffer a heart attack in this kind of situations.. isnt it? or i could be wrong.. hehehe.,)

Lovely clouds, backgoround and colours as always. I think the rat's nose should taper a little though, and it's back legs should move foreward some. Other than that it's awesome, just like the one you posted of Twitch.
How'd the poor little bugger get chained there?

hmmm...he doesn't look chained to the tree.
After many months of suffering at the local lab, the poor now hairless rat was finaly able to escape. Running as fast as it could, it ran and ran looking for that secret hiding place where all rats live happily.
After days of running without eating and drinking the poor mamal came up on a hill, dehydrated and famished it took rest on a branch overlooking a valley. Alas there it was, it's beady eyes could not believe it, was it a mirage? could it be hallucinating? No there it was, the place it had been looking for all along.
