I just wanted to post up and say hi to all of you...i just found out about this forum.

Here is a little info about myself.

I am a Video Game 3d Animator and Artist at Inevitable Ent and am Assistant Lead Artist on a "secret project"...I am sure most of you know how this goes in the video game industry...BUT it is a HUGE title, and it will be awesome being able to let people know what it is when we Sierra releases the info. We are currently doing Tribes 2 for the PS2, and of the course the "secret" one.

I worked at Acclaim, (formerly called Iguana Ent) for 3 years, and was a aniamtor and artist on ,NHL breakaway 98, Turok Rage Wars, and then went on to Turok 4 before i quit. This was my first job right out of art school...

Cant wait to see all the talent and ideas on this forum. Later all..

here is a pic just so i can keep this post related...it is an illustration i did...

i have some more artwork on my site in the "my artwork section"

Hey, cool to have you here! Nice pic you have there. Like it a lot. I just hope you stay long and maybe have the time to offer some help and critique.

I'm looking forward to see the first preview of that game.

I'd like to join in the chorus, and welcome you aboard Sijun. You'll fit in great, here.

I can see a heavy influence of comic art in your pieces and site (duh). Looks you've read a great deal of Jim Lee and Scott Campbell comics. Plug away, though, and do what you can to set yourself apart, as you develop your skills.

You have some anatomy issues, even for comics (but they're letting people get away with murder, sometimes). Particularly, the guy's face (Conan?) is quite flat, and the girl is suffering from an over-long torso. She also has the long thighs of a comic fan, which is cool, but not the calves, man... not the calves.

Her forward foreleg is much too long, and is lopsided, in comparison to the other... from her calf, to the ankle, that long narrow part is quite long. I'd have it looked at, if I were you. Take her to a donation clinic for bone marrow. Chances are she'll make a mint.

Two other things... although [Conan] has long arms, his biceps and triceps are bunched up too close to his shoulders. One thing I read in a muscle mag, is that the longer the muscle, the better genetics for size (muscular growth). 'Slabs' of meat, is a term that comes to mind... if you're gonna beef the dude... BEEF the dude! Also, it's hard to see that the two are perched on a rock. I had to study it for a bit, to figure it out.

More than anything, these are comments to be taken as a 'heads-up' in future drawings of yours. Keep up the good work, and we'll look forward to seeing many more very cool stuff from you.

I'm one of those 'game artists' too. Been doing that for about 6 years, now... although I took a 6 month haitus for freelancing. It's funny you talking about a Major Title your company is working on... after working in the industry for so long, I've found that everyone is somehow working on a major title... both companies I've worked for, have constantly been producing them... I've been on games from Animaniacs, to Star Craft Brood Wars, to Top Gear Rally 2, to Sarge's Heroes, to Unreal... etc etc etc... it's all major, major! I'm curious as to what your 'secret' title is, though... we've got a 'secret' one, that blew them away at E3... we should definitely check up on one another!

Rambling done, I'd like to reiterate how much talent you have, and not to let yourself get too influenced by one particular style. Comics are cool, and if you stay on that road, at least go the extra mile to set yourself apart! Feeb out!
