40 minutes. Just for fun. Now, let's see if I can get more comments than Stneil for once! (Just kidding. No offense intended to Stneils living or dead...or something...er...I'll just shut up now, shall I?)

Thats really nice. I can't see anything that needs fixing really. I like the leathery shirt she has on too.
[Edit] Oh! I remeber, lose the border.

Well, I've already commented on this over on Epilogue, but... 40 minutes? If this was 'just for fun', then we've really got to start getting you to have more fun, Socar, even if we have to force feed it to you.
I want more. *nods* |

Great as always socar...but I think (could just be me) that the eye to the left on the picture could/should be moved down a few pixels... |

Wow, very cool. But like MrPumpernickel
said there is something about the left eye. also the nose seems to be a tad offset with the lips.
Only 40min!!!?
and yeah I'd either get rid of the frame or fully frame her. Personal opinion though. |

Looks great SOCAR, apart from the shading on the face looks a little awkward, but considering you did it in only forty minutes ( ) it's not really that big of a deal.
A great piece, i also think you should do more!

Socar,
I really like the clean style to this...
If I was going to give some crit it would be
The nose seems to bend too far at the bottom, disproportionate to the angle of her face. Her left eye (are right side) seems almost too grey.
I like the style. |

Yeah, that IS a pretty squonky nose, now that y'all mention it--I really ought to use photo-reference. Anyway, I was going for a 'feel' in this one, more than for realism (obviously), so I'm not going to bother changing it. But I will be more careful in that whole...er...nasal area, there...next time.
And also, thanks for all the compliments. I'm glad people like this. |

Pretty cool, I like the slightly stylized works. Sort of Nagel-esque (in a 3D-rendered sort of way). |

Usaully after 40 minutes my screen is still blank and I've erased whatever I was drawing and started all over again about 5 times.
I love those full lips. And what nice hair she has.
[Gimbal shakes himself out of a daze] Where was I? Oh yeah. Great work Socar. Now put a rat on her shoulder. |

I guess I'm looking for some highlights on the face to kinda bring it out a bit. Otherwise, a suberbly professional looking piece of work. Nice one! |

Wow! This is fantastic, Socar. It is definately one of my favourites from you.
The subdued colors introduced by the lips, the stark B&W shape design balanced by the soft greys. Beautiful, absolutely beautiful.
One thing that looks slightly off though is her nose. It looks a bit twisted and may need some more modelling. Apart from that minor imperfection though, this has taken my breath away. |

Very nice! And she bears no resemblance to either a rat or a heroin addict! I think it's cool to see someone working in monochrome for a change. It's too often that we hear, "I like that, but I'd like to see the color (read finished) version." |
