I liked it right off. The background color you chose isn't too loud, like other's I've seen... and I love the simplicity of it... you don't have to go exploring to get to the good stuff. Hell... it's right in front of you!
You've made it very use-able and interesting. Thumbnails right off the bat... you're wasting no one's time that way. I'm really sold on it!

That's great if that page you gave is the frontpage. It takes million years to find some artist's art in his site. Some sites just are so unclear and frustrating (no offence www.icq.com )
