The hairless rat, in all its glory. Giggerota (the much-used hairless rat model) rides again!

S'great!
You must have the patience of a saint to do all the detail in that border... where'd you steal that from? I want some.
But... but... Giggerota didn't have those funky winglike growths when she posed for me. I feel shunned and lied to.
Mind you, this new picture more than makes up for it. |

I think it's perfectly wonderful the pretty transparent wings are great--
and Giggerota wouldnt even POSE for me! She took my assistants head off and then ran out! |

hmmm.... who said gen-tecnique is evil?
Look what nice animals they made... hairless rats with silk-wings and they eat grapes. Do they have PSI-Attacks or are they harmless? If they are are harmless i buy one!
Nice work.

Awww they're so cute.
I should paint a picture of my rats one day. One of them just went through surgery so I might wait for the fur to grow back where the incision is. |

Thanks for all the compliments on this--I appreciate them....
sacrelicious--No, actually, it's the giraffe. Don't they look like giraffes to you? *Fake wounded expression* Yep. Rats rule.
Blitz--Thanks! *G* Maybe I'll do a bullfrog later, although I already have a big toad lying around somewhere.
Twisted--Oh, Giggerota is just shy. She sometimes hides her wings--but that just means she likes you.
Iconoclast--I'll have a word with her...although she's rather stubborn.... *wink*
Akolyte--Ah, D-Con Mouse-Prufe. Just what my pictures needed. Maybe now all those pesky rats will stop standing in front of the nice scenery.
mk--Oh, I think they're harmless enough...unless you take the last grape, that is.
Gimbal--Paint them! Paint them! Everyone should paint rats. I hope your rat pulls through okay, and never needs surgery again. |

lol. Ok I will.
Our other rat had the exact same surgery (Poor rats get cancer like we get colds). We saw it early and had it removed. She is in perfect health. The rat that just had the surgery, almost in the same spot, seems to be doing just fine as well.
My wife asked me to draw them a few times but I never got around to it. Maybe I'll have some time to give it a go tonight. Need to work on my "furry things" rendering skill anyway. |
