I think he meant that no one has done it in this thread, and even though you are right, that is from a copy from a comic I think it's a pretty cool looking copy.

I'm sure that's what stneil777 meant as well. It's a nice drawing stneil but you got to remember to give credit to the original artist when you copy something or you'll get burned.

Francis: I agree that the second one is not your best work. Spidey is a hard character to paint with the detail his costume requires. One of the main things I see off in the second pic is the anatomy and proportions. It looks like this may have just been a real quicky for you. It isn't as high quality as your previous stuff.

Yeah, I do comics. I did the covers for Peter Parker: Spider-Man #27-29. And right now I'm working on a Spider-Man one shot that's all digitally painted (that I wrote myself). And I'm doing some work on the Spider-Man 2 video game coming out from Activision for the Playstation. I also have some Gen:13 stuff coming out right now that's traditional pen and ink and it's more cartoony. In fact I know a bunch of guys here from the comiccolors.com boards. 'Sup Kaiju!

Yeah, I knew I had seen that before, it is extremely good I might add, I think the first one you posted is the cover for #27 and I've seen the second one too (The creepy one) so I think it was also a cover for another one. I'm not too much into comics anymore, I only follow Superman, but I have seen all these covers when they review them on IGN.com

Anyway, I thought that was too good to be just a copy, and the second one totally gave it away, that's why I asked you. As for your new projects *bows down* must be a lot of work...just want you to know that you might be the reason I start buying comics other than Superman...then again, probably not
