I know some of you have seen this on my site but it is my latest and very fresh piece so I am very interested to hear what you think. It is part of the same project as the previous thing I posted. This would be the main character for the story I am working on.

Very nice, did you use a model or photo for this one? The figure isn't exactly the "ideal scifi chick" figure... Not that that is bad... it's good, just curious.
C&C: I think the belly button is too deep and right above her belly button is to general, maybe add some definition to whats up there.
Oh, and what is the function of the titty markers on the vest? heh |

the rendering is terrific. i like, the "down to earth" proportions. i see a lot of painterly pieces here- which i like very much, but it's really refreshing to see such clean and polished work once in a while as well |

I love it. Her proportions look ok to me, but Im not fanatic to ideal proportions. I really dig her clothing, thats so well designed and rendered. I like her facial expression, but shes not my type :P.
And I like her hairstyle!
Great work keep it on! |

Looks cool. Do you do everything in Photoshop or what mediums do you use to make your pictures? From looking at this I would think you started out with a marker sketch and then moved it to Photoshop for the colors. |

I love your lighting and linework! How do you get it so lighthanded? Most of my stuff is very weighty, and I have always endeavored to fix that...
Beautiful! ...but your website isn't working for me. It says it is not there! ;{ |

Cool. That's Carrie-Ann Moss aint it?
The outfit is great.
(aside: that sci-fi look trend of frickin huge boots is interesting. First place I remember it was the Quake2 females. I wonder how practical they would be.) |

Thanks for all the comments. It is not Carrie-Ann Moss, it was based on my friend Lindsay (great girl by the way).
I am sorry that my images are not showing up at this time, my page is down due to my DNS kicking me off because of some violation related to posting stuff on here. I got a new server but it will take a couple of days to get the site up. I am very pissed off about this, but not much I can do.
Thanks to all who e-mailed me over the past few days as well. For all of you who are interested in my process of work (and judging by the letters there are a few of you) I am working on a tutorial for cgchannel.com which should be up next week. Once again I am very happy to be part of this forum as it is a very inspiring environment. |
