you can't scan pencils because graphite have a reflective quality, that's why they don't scan well... maybe if you had a scanner with backlighting... I havn't tried that yet |

Spray them with some matte finish paint first. This acts as a fixative and keeps the reflection down, making them scan easier. Used to do this all the time in school. |

hey Blitz, cool shit man. have youtried scanning in rgb?? not grayscale...then messing with curves and color balance??? dont know if it'll help atall....some people just dodrawings on colored paper then highlight with white...it's an instant "look cool" technique....maybe if it had a subtle hint of color depth in the lines it would add that feeling back...I dont know..I babble.
Your design is pretty neat, interesting. It is all an overall grey though....dont know if that is what you wanted, just a tip for another version of it...or whatever: keep some of the spaces white, this is a good design balance and gives the eye somethign to rest on while perusing your pic, darks too. Of course your drawing is basically a silhoutte on a white ground so it works..
Anyway, just trying to give some feedback, I likes it Bro!!!!! You are definitely improving.

Thanks guys...Scanning tips sure do help...Man, I realy hate what the scanner did to it.
U2...That Peewee Pic absolutly rules...I nearly fell off my seat laughing. Great. I do get what you are saying about my pic...I really wish you could see the real verson...it has alot more life to it. I think you would be a bit more satisfied with the tones I used. ...MAN its so much better. The scann is a bit to white. The real pic is alot darker ...its hard to explane...
Seeyas bro..and take it easy.
