Maybe it's time to start drawing from real life (as in objects or people that are physically around you) instead of drawing from photos- then people can't accuse you of tracing. It would be better practice, too.

Now that I've said that, here's what else I have to say:

I do believe that this vector/photo stuff IS valid artwork (everyone check out http://www.quickhoney.com for a great example),but you're just doing it poorly, you're not taking any time, you're just zipping through, making lines with awkward crossing and childish angles.

If you want to post this sort of stuff, you have to work carefully at it (especially vector art,it requires you to be extremely precise, even if you're stylizing a photograph), not spend 10 minutes and post everything you do, becuase we really don't need to see a running history of your art "career" as it happens.

And please, PLEASE, post this stuff in the Work In Progress forum, because if you need THIS much help, you're telling us that these pieces aren't finished.

i think it looks good as long as you dont zoom in.. the thumbnail view it looks good but when it gets larger the image falls apart. keep trying

I know Steil has made some rude comments in the past, and posted some "objectionable" artwork, but alot of you are just being @$$holes. Not only are you giving Stneil more reason to type angry replies, but you've stooped to the level of insulting Stneil and poking fun of mentally retarded people which I think is very, VERY offensive.

I think some of us in this forum need to stop making such a big deal over his posts and step back to think for a minute. If you don't agree with his post, don't reply! There's no reason to drag this thing on with him.

Those are my two cents.

If Stneil was actually a person with real values, real opinions, and an ounce of kindness, then I wouldn't result to such immature tactics. But the fact of the matter is, that he is a provoking, evil little terd that haunts these forums daily. He has not once shown the faintest bit of compassion, kindness, or respect to ANYONE. He has his own set of beliefs, and his own way of life - which he tends to feel is superior.

I mean, it's not a cool anim or anything, it's just an image gradually scaling up to simulate a helicopter flying closer and closer...a pic would've been much better IMHO...

This is a place for critiques, comments, and discussions on the piece, not for personal plebian wars. Perhaps if you spent time critiquing hard working artists waiting for tips instead of ranting at his posts, these flaming topics will fall to the bottom.

That is a shame Stneil777. I used your artwork in the movie. I would have thought you would at least liked seeing your helicopter in action. You might be able to use it as a portfolio piece

What is also a shame is how your mind works. Why are we debating evolution? That argument is way out of left field and illustrates yet again how truly off topic you are at Sijun.

This is an art board....where artists come from all walks in life. We appreciate all beliefs here...and I have no wish to talk with you about something that is irrelevant to the board.

Instead of debate...I have a better idea...how about a trial? I hope the moderators read this and make this the straw that broke the camels back and agree with me. Maybe we could have a vote...all in favor of keeping Stneil type 0 all in favor of kicking him type 1.

All over the internet, chatrooms have that option to kick people who don't quite fit the board...why don't we have that same option on a message board? If the moderators care about this board they would care about our opinions. Or maybe it could be voluntary banishment Stneil777??? If you truly are a real artist and a real person you should respect a majority vote. If we have a trial post and if you are voted off the board...will you leave?
