Hey pretty cool, but which portal stones are you talking about? The ones used to travel across the world? Or the ones that take you to another plain..the one Matt used when he met those alien looking things?
In any event, looks pretty cool, just needs more weathering on the rock. Maybe use some celtic stone carvings as reference. |

These are the ones like Rand used to transport to Falme in The Great Hunt, or to the Aiel Waste in Shadow Rising. Of course, this one would have to either be near the Ogier Stedding, or the one maybe on the mountain side after Rand, Huron and Selene make it out of that parallel world.... Check out my other posted stuff! http://www.epilogue.net/cgi/database/art/list.pl?gallery=117 |

Ok, cool. Yeah definitely Ogier steadding.
I like your take on them, great 3d work too, the cathedral renders are awesome.
Maybe you should model the gate. That would look really cool and very organic.
Is it me or there just isn't really good Jordan inspired artwork out there? |

hehe way cool. your loosk like it was carved out of a giant eye socket of a skull or something, i always imagined it as rough geometric shapes that were broken or weathered down with carvings in them. your organix take on it is pretty cool, there needs to be more good WoT art out there |

Very Cool rendering etoddt! I am reading through the series right now. I like the odd shape and how you played with it. Did you play the WOT game for the pc? |

http://homepage.mac.com/capnpyro/pictures/seq/lews_1.jpg

I love that series... and your picture is really cool too. I haven't read all the books though. *pouts* I only made it halfway through book 5 I think. It would be neat to see more WoT art ![](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |

I'm working on a waygate right now. Vtga mentions borderlands... perhaps the fallen kingdom of the Malkeri? |
