The self portrait I posted in Joachim's thread was actually made for this - no time to finish it sooner.
Great fun to do though! Hope I got the right look of the good old 50's gangster movie posters. Used a bit of reference.
(And sorry about the dull title. )

Hi Olve,

This is really cool! I like the idea, it makes me want to do something similar.. I think you definitive catched that 50's gangster look. Congratulations!

The title of the film is what makes it!

heh... clever. I dig it. Although he should be gripping a bloody pencil or something, not a gun

Thanx so far.

Kjetil: Go ahead! It was cool to do. Draw Club variation of the month perhaps? Guess I'll do another one. I really like to try out different styles - and try to make it work.
William: Yeah.... A bit dodgy though. Or? Gag was already used in Toy Story....
Justin: I dig those 50's shooting poses. Couldn't do it with a pencil.
The rest: Thanks for nice words. No crits?

Bloody hell, I love that! The one thing Id tug at your pants for is that the pose is too stiff.

Keep it right up

This is rockin. Everything looks great even the lettering on the title. The only thing I could see that could use a little work are his legs. They look a little too unfinished. Maybe make them a solid siloutte.

Since I'm already here I add another reply.

Shaded: They WERE stiff back then. That's the cool thing about it.
nickmark...: Thanks!
Kaiju: I used some 50s poster reference and I noticed that most of them have a lot of rough stuff going on in them. So I did this on purpose to get it more autentic. Actually I wanted it even rougher.
