After watching the max payne trailer (over and over again) your imagination kind of gets stuck in action mode. The result:

The fact that I successfully rendered a location I had in mind is a bit of a milestone for me . Although I don't really know where it is supposed to be, besides some kind of warehouse with, hmm, concrete pillars.

Constructive criticism, paintovers, etc. are extremely welcomed.

Max "pain" Payne, yeah. Real cool demo.

Maybe it's a warehouse for the artmuseum?

Cool pic though. That bullet hitting on
concrete/marmor is really realistic. Add more
of them to get it more action.

Critique: The shoes do look a little bit
odd, too short maybe.

Thanks for the reply Ax0. Aha, of course it's a art museum warehouse
The shoes do look a little odd, but with bigger feet he might get a little clowny.

One thing I noticed about the image now after not seeing it for a few days, was that my shapes is a bit blurry and the values are in a pretty high key. I should have concentrated more on getting clean shapes and used more colour. Pretty good self crit, right?

Ooooh! Too bad I don't have my tabbie here, otherwise I'd try a paintover. The image could be *very* powerful if you used the lightsource behind the character, instead of a top-right angle.

Please give it a shot!
