Built this one up from scratch. It's based on a quick pencil scetch by me, I can post it if someone wants to take a look. |

Art work is brilliant, and the design looks good.
Don't know if you were going for technical accuracy, but here are a few ideas you may wanna throw around. Don't take them as a crit, as I don't want to crit this as such. this looks cool, I want one!!!!
end of the barrel-normally there is some sort of "flash supressor",
ejection port-would make this for a "left handed" person, contray to the thumb lever you have above the "pistol-grip"
"Emergency sight" - refers to the small nick on the end of the barrel and usually in this style, another side-by-side two on top of the eye piece of the sight mechanism. (This is primarly used as a QUICK ref if you haven't got time to use the sight it'self before nailing some scum who sneaks up on ya)
Having said that, as before noted, I'd still buy it as being the real thing, and it looks wicked man. NICE ! ! ! ! ! ! |

I like... Some suggestions for it though...
The end of the barrell could use a flash hider or at least some venting... The foregrip is a little too small for one hand -- Take a look at a picture of a SIG 552 Commando (For lack of a better example, one of the guns from Counter-Strike *although that one has poor ballistics modeling* (that's a different story)) -- The foregrip is a little longer, allowing for more flexability with each person to use it... Just some thoughts. ![](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |

Alright. Now, let me explain, this is an imaginary design loosely based on modern weapons.
There's no flash supressor because there's no flash even with barrel this short. The recoil-related problems (aim climbing upward when firing full auto) are solved with slightly upwards recoiling bolt. Anyone familiar with Jati-Matic?
Yes, this is a left-handed model because... no special reason. The lever is just like one in Kalashnikov; basically you need to loose the grip to operate the switch. (I know because I've been trained to use Valmet RK62)
The small foregrip is explained with the fact that the center of mass is way back than normal. You basically can forget your other arm while shooting, throw grenades with it etc. etc...
Sounds credible? Dunno, I just made them up. |

Don't get me wrong, I like the design, and the drawing is good -- I'm just biased as far as my weapon design goes... I prefer SIG & H&K ![](images/smiles/icon_wink.gif) |

That's awesome! Very nice desing.
Just curious: How do keep those nice
straight lines when u color the whole thing
and specially when you have to make the
lines stronger. I've never managed to do
that with my wacom.
On the other hand. I really admire your
skills to do different based art.
Keep it up.

Job well done!
You forgot the sling buckle to carry around that bad boy; kinda hard to do shoulder arms out in the boonies.
Is this a sniper rifle or an assault rifle? Have you thought of putting a safety indicator or icon on the side? HK uses the bullet icons to indicate the different modes, 1 bullet single shot, 5 bullets full auto... Most guns have some sort of color indicator to show the mode. Yours would seem to be able to do full auto or nothing - Maybe a stronger indication for single shot mode.
My only other comment, would be a bayonet stud if it is going to be a replacement for a Valmet, but as my drill instructor used to say... "Hell son, if they are close enough to stab they are close enough to shoot!"
Last question, is that stock supposed to be collapsible? It looks it, and you get that feel, but I can't tell how it would...
