I mean: lately (I've been watching the forums for some time, though I nearly never post anything) he seems to be loosing his mind. From a girl's point of view he seems to be the typical "macho man" who is always right, and never accepts an opinion opposite to his. He doesn't always understand correctly what is written, and so he charges against everything. He also seems a bit bad-mannered, and though he criticizes every work he sees in the forums, his spared master works never seem so "state of the art pieces".
What do you think? Is my female perception wrong? Is he sooooo bitter and everything is so bad, and the world doesn't like him, and everything is shit, like he pretends?

Yeeees, I know he's going to LOVE this: Somebody mentioning him! He is the center of the thread!
(Well, I didn't pretend to turn this to a flame, but it came out like this).

hard to say, i don't really see this, but then again i don't take any ones post too seriously. I just read it, agree or disagree and voice my opinion and that is it. I think faust does like to redifine his opinion over and over again.

I don't see this center of the universe thing from him, but then again i don't care if he does or doesn't

don't effect me none, end of the day i don't remember 3/4 of these posts

Well, there are people out there like that. I steer away from them generally because they offer mostly bitterness and anger to the world, and that doesn't make this world a better place. Their attitude of "The world sucks, deal with it, or get the f--- out" is too extreme. They forget that it's the dreamers who sees beauty in this world that manages to change it for the better. Not saying people like that are bad, they are just unpleasant to be around, that's all. Why would anyone want to be around somebody that responds to everything around him/her with sarcasm, rudeness, inconsideration for other's feeling, and attack others for no reason other than because they could? I don't know if that's his personality in real life. Maybe it's just his online persona. Oh well. I like nice people, and faustgfx is nice to very few people.

He's up front and speaks his mind (sometimes this he can express with merely a few symbols etc!)

Gotta admire him for that.

I always got the impression that he spoke his mind and didn't give a shit what others thought, at the same time I get the impression that he never expects others to hold his opinion or change their minds as such.

(No judgement on whether this is a bad thing or not!! Just an observation!!)

OK maybe some offense could be taken from his approach, but from the first post one sorta gets the idea that this is what is to be expected from his persona on the forum.

Either way, once he sees this post I'm a picking that his feelings will be expressed.

If anything, I just like to hear an honest opinion about stuff on Sijun now and again. I recall one of spooge's pics being 'average' a while back and faustgfx being the only person to point it out. You don't need to take legal action every time someone says something you don't agree with on Sijun, you just ignore, humour the situation or offer honest comments if you think that someone is in the wrong.

Okay... I really think that threads like this are unnecessary. Why create a thread for the sole purpose of making a personal attack on someone? If you have grudges, there is this neat little thing called email... or private messages. Or just ignoring the person in question, it's easy enough.

On a different note, I don't want this to turn into a flame. I'm going to have to ask people to keep their language clean... Ugly language is not necessary to get a point through.

He's an Artist and a person too. His opinion counts just as much as yours or mine, whether we agree with him or not. If you or I deserve the right to freedom of speech, then so does he. The tone or intent of his posts do not reflect an unintelligent mind. the fact that he types with almost no grammatical error shows that he exercises his brain and at least stretches his mind to give a intelligent response. So no, while I may not agree with his opinion all the time, Faustgfx' brain has not melted.

this was way more of a response than I was intending to post but.... you wouldnt want any of us to post something defaming to you or your intelligence.

We all know how faust will reply to something he doesn't like('fuck you'). While this may be brash, crude, malicious, or any other adjective on a long list describing such a response, why invite this upon yourself?

So, who's brain has really melted? The person blasting away at random, or the person who puts themself in the line of fire?

Wouldn't it be nice if you could extend your friendliness to people you don't know as well? doesn't it make you feel good when people you don't know is polite and kind towards you? Well, you can do that for others too.

Seeing as this is the twenty first thread just about how faust|gfx sucks and whatever, I'd say OUR brains have melted. What would be the point of a thread like this? To make him leave? To point out something that we all know, especially him?

Faust|gfx is a more-than-not talented and highly creative (unless you've seen H.R. Giger?) artist, and a generally good guy. He's a bitch to deal with, per his admittance. So, whatever. He thinks what he thinks, no matter anyone else thinks. That's enough to earn my respect, and yours too. I still talk to the guy, despite his calling me everything from infidel slime to an ass fucktard in the 2 years or so that I've known him.

I'm not taking sides here because I think this is a pretty lame thread. Jussi has always been nice to me, and I know others that know him and say the same thing. But I don't know that Luna is saying you should kiss the asses of everyone you come across, just have more of a neutral attitude or something. Then if the time arises where you need to get some attitude it's ok.

Although I think this forum currently has enough ass kissing as it is

Well, obviously, people like faustgfx won't change just because someone points out his behavior is unpleasant to some people. Sure, some people like him because he says what he wants and doesnt' give a f-ck what others think, but he does hurt other people's feelings with his harsh words. It's great that we have a forum where people can share ideas and discuss things, but does it have to be done with venom and spite? You can get the same point across without sounding like a mean jerk.

But I guess some people enjoy being that way. I don't know. Not everyone in this world believes in or practices consideration, kindness, and respect for others. "The world suck, so I can be anyway I want and it won't make a difference" seems to be their motto.

Well, this world is the sum of what we put into it.
