Suggestions would be great. Perhaps a little overlabored?

Cool, must have been hard doing those ribs and bones, so well done. Values are a bit confusing, kinda messy in some areas. Overboard? nah never....
Cool idea. |

Gotcha. Thanks for the insight Collosimo. Now I see that some of the values are inconsistent with the light source! Thanks for helping!

Yup, kinda hard to tell what's going on here. Maybe more medium tones to define form? |

well, just one comment
Maybe you were going for that effect in which case just disregard this. The leg and the tail seem to be made the same. Now usualy the leg is made of longer bones that bend at few points nothing like a tail or a spine. Now of course this is an alien so I'm too familiar wth their anatomy.
well that's just my 2cents. Have a great evening. |

Actually Weirdow, these creatures don't have legs. I call them "space corpses". They go with a story that I'm developing with a friend. They are kind of like decomposing skeletal whales that live in space. They have 2 tails which are extensions of a single under-sided spinal chord. They expand their mouths and inhale any space particles for food, hence the whale reference. Now I know you wouldn't have got their entire history from one little illustration, but it appears I didn't make it clear that the spine splits into 2 tails. A mistake on my part, which I'm glad you pointed out. Also, SpiralEye's comment on medium tones was good and I'll keep that in mind when I redo it. Thanks to both of you for throwing in your 2 cents!
