** The smooshy peach has returned! Yay!!

I've been having loads of fun doing these... just a bunch random objects I place in front of me and try to make little tiny photo-realistic (I hope) images from them. The egg and the potato were from a thread in random musings, they were done from my head and they were the pictures that started this tiny craze

Very nice, beth. Here's a congratulatory wooble: *wooble*

agent44: They're that tiny so you have to strain so hard to look at them you'll go blind. Then any of the flaws in beth's further works will not be able to be seen and she will therefore assume the position of The Greatest Artist on the Board!... a master plan

Ack ack ack! No Spooge trembling, no greatest artistness, no masterfulness... I'm still a major artist pansy. If I can make a 3000x3000 image look real... then we're getting somewhere, hehe Although photorealism in all my work isn't a goal I'm working up to or anything, I just think it's fun sometimes.

Agent - The main reason they are tiny though is because I had an absolutely horrible day and I wanted to do something complete, but I was too impatient to spend a lot of time on something. These little bity still lifes were perfect in sorta getting my mind off things, letting me work on something and letting me switch subjects quickly.

I'm about to start a couple more.

"They're that tiny so you have to strain so hard to look at them you'll go blind. Then any of the flaws in beth's further works will not be able to be seen.."

Hehehehe

Thanks for the comments everyone.

Beth

Holy crap, these are STUNNING!

They are all soooo cute and soooo well done. I actually was doing an exercise like this just the other day, only traditionally with pencil. Your idea is much more interesting Thanks for inspiring me.

Those are very nice Jez! Maybe it would be more of a challenge for you to draw them bigger? =)

That's a good idea making them small. I was trying to photorealistically paint my headphones, but I made it 640*480, and it ended up taking longer than my attention span allowed.
(also, great job, I really like the cherry)

Jez? Whats the original rez that you did these in? If you worked at a large scale and reduced them, could you post the originals? Thanks in advance if its possible. I like the pills.
