So, I haven't been on the Internet much, these last few days...I haven't been feeling well. Indeed, I still feel pretty lousy, which is my excuse for...
...this.
No, I don't really hate it THAT much. It just...well...all right. The truth. I had a different picture I REALLY wanted to draw, but it wouldn't come out right, so I had to do this instead. So I'm sulking, yes...sulking.... |

It looks great! See - as the average viewer, we can't really see what's going on in your head that didn't come out. All we're left with is just another great pic.
Do more rats.... ![](images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif) |

Surely it's not the best one you ever came up with, but i like it ... although you do not.
The composition is very meaningful, prevails over the imperfection you think of.
The only thing I would crit is the rat that seems to melt with the rocks. Perhaps this was your aim, but it disturbs the triangle rat-bird-storm(/flower). |

Well /I/ really like it, for sure.
But then, that's me, and I'm silly and stupid so no one needs to listen to me.
It IS nice, though, Socar. As said, not one of your best, but certainly worthy of a lot of attention since it's much better than most the stuff that's out there. |

It looks fine to me socar. I think if the water was all sparkly and reflecting lights of light etc. It would look great. Also the bird looks kinda strange, im not sure what it is, I think it's it's tail, in comparison to the rest of the little critters pose. I think the sky on the angle looks good!
I didn't notice the little caption at the bottom of it the first time i saw it, then i looked at it again and thought of the little rat with a shotgun.. :\ sorry.

I think it's the bird's feet dangling in the wind. Ordinarily, they retract the landing gear upon take-off, but I can see you're trying to get the feeling across that it's just started flying, vice some bird we're not even interested in. The one leg looks broke, however. Beyond that and the aforementioned color/value thing with the rodent and rock (& nest), it's very nice, especially when one doesn't feel well (I have trouble producing anything more than phlegm). You are extraordinarily talented, Socar. |

I like it... although, it's the first one of your sad pictures that doesn't make me laugh.
Instead, it makes me... well, sad. Maybe I'm reading too much into the picture, but this one seems more emotional than your others, to me.
I really love the waterfall, by the way, although, maybe a bit more froth around where it meets the see might be in order. The whole thing's very pretty, though. ![](images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif) |

Quit the sulking, socar, it's very nice, again! And the rat is back...nice melancholy feel in this one.
Must agree with baerb though, that the rat is blending into the rocks very much. If the camo-effect was intended, well done. If not, i'd try to vary the hue or brightness on one of the two. |

sweet. motive i find rather cheesy, the bird looks like its hanging on a string and the rocks appear flat to me, but all in all great job! love the colors! |

oh wait- i sense a perspective problem with the waterfall... i take it the angle of view is from below, right? so we couldnt possibly be looking at the waterfall from on top... unless it's inclining towards the background- which wouldn't be right since floating water can't incline like that.
still cool picture |

Oh... something bad happened to your bird? So sad ...
So sad, but this picture is so beautiful & cute. I love the colors, the falling water's expressions very much. |
