another creature, thats supposed to be a human in the coner just for scale. playing around with texture on this one.

I don't like the angle. The flow I'm getting is noticing the rear first and then following it up to the head. This creates the impression that the thing is mooning me. I love the design of the creature though.

edit: the more I like at it the less I notice my initial qualm. Probably the alien anatomy is what threw me. I wasn't expecting legs to come out of the head Cool idea.

yep, the creature design roxx (/me loves alien creature marker designs *points on feng* ^^)
but the shadow seems a bit off to me, the shadow of the creature's butt is too much left i think

Tenebricus: I know what your saying about the movement of the image, i belive its because the spine is a little to the left and a little to high on the back. I m glad you like the desgin though, i re-hased it from an older creature i drew long ago.. ITs an alien ATV (all terrian vechile) it can swim fly climb ect.. IT can also stand on its front legs and bring its back legs over its head like a scorpion and attack that way

DRAGooN of deranged : Yhea that shadow is way off, i noticed it too late and couldn't really fix it on paper witout redrawing the whole thing. So ill just fix that in PS. :P

glad you ppl like the desgin, i like the ideas of things more then their execution.

here is the year old concept- those blades are what give it lift and their really really sharp.and the guy on his back is a little alien head hunter.hes soo cute and deadly.

I like the metallic texture and the cool colors.

Aw this creature is almost jumping to me, I feel.
I'm afraid that this may cut me by the keen edges of knives.
