It's been a long time since I posted anything. I've been visiting The Drawing Board a lot lately, and I've fallen in love with the simplicity of that forum's collective cartoony style. I grew up on anime, and this is kind of like going in a full circle for me.

I originally justed wanted to do a quick sketch and quickly color it, but I ended up cleaning it up too much. I hate it when I do that.

very cool, everything is great except i don't really like the feet. the shape is a little wierd, and i think the boots are kinda out of place.

what is the adress of The Drawing Board? i'd like to join a board that focuses on cartoons more.

maybe people will actaully REPLY TO MY FRIGGIN POSTS THERE- oops sorry i'm getting off subject.

Really good,strong anatomy and the feet look fine I don't see a thing wrong there. I was actually @ that board once but I didn't post cause the total post count was so low I thought that no one replied there. I'll give it a try.

Yep, she was born with 2 left feet. None of the kids in school ever teased her about it because she's such a cutie, and a real sweetie too.

Nice.. uninspired? I don't think that you could say that this forum is uninspiring.. I do however agree that we shouldn't just focus all our artistic attention to the art on this forum. I know for sure that I need other inspiration.. I am a student graphic designer... I also get my inspiration from places like deviantart.. chapter3.net...australianinfront.com.au << yes I'm an ozzie so of course!

The thing I get from this forum, that I use in my graphic design work is 'storyline', 'mood', 'atmosphere' , 'action' , 'movement' , 'expression'... all things that have spawned from the illustrations displayed here.

I am glad you have gotten inspired again... it is always nice to get out of a rut. I like the curves of the hips and legs of this girl, and the sweet innocence of her.. idealistic things of course.

Maybe work on the hair... some variation in the lines would improve it.
