just had to start doing these... a few hundred of these and I'm satisfied ..inspired by spooge's painting (which was inspired by enayl&jezebel)
this was a rather quick one. a native-american-indian-lookish-i-guess
the background messes up the shoulder, I already corrected it but am too lazy to upgrade the file on the server...... |

Wow--you're really turning them out, aren't you? It's good to see someone doing such a large volume of quality work. This one reminds me of the illustrations in a children's version of 'The Canterbury Tales' I once bought for my little sister. Unfortunately, I have forgotten who the illustrator was. But I promise you, I do mean the comparison as a compliment.
Small critique--the sizes of the iris portions of the eyes don't quite seem to match--but that's a very small nitpick on an otherwise beautiful piece. You're really moving ahead by leaps & bounds--I want to improve as fast as you do! |

hey,thanks for the positive comments
I'll be posting some portraits in the future too.
I think buying wacom a couple months ago has helped me a lot, even I can see the developement...woohoo...well, still a lot to learn though. |
