That looks very cool. I like this piece a lot, all the individual elements look great.

Wow...wow...wow. Thats awesome, and a style similar to the one I strive for. I love it.

One crit tho, That girl looks a little rigid to me. Still, AMAZING.

Very nice!

I have to say, conceptually and composition-wise, this is one of the most original pieces I've ever seen at sijun. There are a lot of great techniques and academic type work at the forum that is high-calibur, but true originality in subject/theme is very rare here.

Good job!

thank you guys very much for the criticism and compliments

schwinn: i layouted on paper and colored in photoshop 5.5

v1510nAry: i worked on it on and off whenenver i had time and including layouting it took me all in all almost a month. it's kinda long, but i made the mistake to go into too much detail at 7000 pixels height (original size)

Lukias: i actually scribbled the set in a top view before i chose a perspective. in this perspective the relations really are hard to grasp (basically no vanishing points due to the composition),but i hoped that the fore- and background leaves on the water surface would help determining relations better

Cicinimo: slender chicks are a personal preference of mine... well, not too slender maybe ;-). the reason she looks even more rigid (esp. arms and legs) is probably because of the strong rimlight on her backside.

WOW! that's really cool...

I'm glad I went to the link.

ripples are a little far out from the blooddrop.. just a bit, and the blood coming off the knucke, it needs to be coming from somewhere. It comes down the side of the wrist, then just dissapears! kind weird if you ask me. I wouldn't imagine it would go to the other side of the hand that much..

The bubbles seem a tiny bit fake, yet still pretty cool.. except that they probably wouldn't exist.. because the water is so calm.. whats your justification there? it doesn;t seem like the waterspout would have created them alone.. if thats where they came from then there should be a kind of trail.. the ripples seem to small from the spout aswell.

The leaves are good, except that the smaller ones on the right seem.. well small.. out of perspective to the others.. this may be partly justifiable by the larger stones on the right, yet they still seem too small..

Overall a pretty darn well executed illustration. VERY NICE.
