Ok, so it's not realistic.. but it was fun. I'm not sure if I have posted this before but I did a quick coloring of it just for kicks. This is the first cartoony style image that I've completed. (I think? hehehe)

[edit: decided to throw in the updated image here]

This is just another little thing I did the same day. It's not supposed to be me, thank goodness

*wooble*

Looks kinda... cute It's very nice, simple, but also detailed. Oh, I can't explain it, i just like it!
The final image looks like a face coming out of a wall, reminds me of a dream i had once.. *shudders*

It looks great. I like the proportions. if you wouldn't mind I would like to make one constructive criticism: One thing that I think would improve this picture 10 fold would be better line quality. and that's just one of those things that come with practice. It's something that I can't do with a wacom, only with pencil, and sometimes pen. But if you look at this picture I think it should explain what I'm trying to say:

anyway, keep up the good work.

Ooooohhh........... oh, sorry. Well, you knew I would like it, beth. It's so cute

I don't have anything constructive to say, but I will say this: *wooble!*

damn that's CUTE!!! hehe, One thing, I would color some of the black lines...black is generally bad in some art. Black is just very flat and dull. If you colorized the lines like animation cels, that might look cool. Thats just me though
I think you can make a layer in PS and put it over the line art and choose colorize as a blending mode...thats one of many ways way. I dont have PS open...so I might be wrong but basically i think you know what I mean...if not just ignore me Anyone know exactly?

keep it up Jezebel

neebhore - Thanks I hope I don't give you nightmares though, hehe.

agent44 - I really appreciate the crit, I re-colored it and tried to take into consideration some of the things you pointed out. I think that it would probably have worked out better if I fixed the original line art though rather than just tweaking the colored version

Bishop_Six - Wooble wooble, glad you like

Shaded - hehehe

Striker - Yeah, my eyes aren't quite that big in person. But I've been told I have big round eyes so it was quite an exaggeration.

u2art - Thanks! I recolored it and tried to do some of the things you mentioned... I'm not sure it made it better or worse though. I'm horrible at coloring line art, and it doesn't help when the line art isn't all that great to being with, hehehe.

AKIRA_x - Yep

Bishop_Six - 8[___]~~

pixualize - I can assure you that I don't look this "cute" in person, hehe. I was just having a little fun with my drawing ^_^ Love the bunny!

Ok... now that all that's out of the way. Here's my update:

Any better?

Those colors give it a 70's feeling to me. It reminds me of the style of some books and decorations around my room when i was like 3 or 4 years old.
Wow, little strole down memory lane.

Nice work

Sempere - Thank you much

TheSourPatchKid - I know exactly the colors you're talking about! I used to have this little pastel green dresser that my dad made for me, it had decals of little lambs all over it in these similar colors. Now that you brought that up, the colors in this picture remind me of that dresser!

geoman2k - Thanks!

Bishop_Six -

neebhore - I agree, I like the recolor a whole lot more. Looks less harsh and more "real". The hair especially.

topeira - Nopes, nobody needs to see pictures of the funky Beth monster
