just practicing. This is from a photo of mine. After I graduated I went on a week long trip in the Rockies. Very fun (specially when they're only and hour from your house).
Anyway, here it is. Sorry if it loads slowly.

Hey Isric. Dude, nice! I love that you do soo much work...you have a wacom?? That looks great. A couple comments...if you dont mind...Is that water...right now it looks like snow...it is wayyy to white and solid for water (unless you are being creative)...you need to get that transparent deep blue color...then again I havent seen the reference photo, maybe your photo lens wasnt polarized to block glare from the water. A second samll thing...all focus is kinda brought to the center with the forground plant thing, and the way the background bank/trail comes to the edge of the water.
But you know what?? It looks damn good, there are many good points...but you dont learn nothin if everyone blows sunshine...so I love the color, not totally vibrant or saturated...which is what I tend to do. Nice and subtle and earthy, would love to see more!!
Well enough of me yappin, as always good job.
Yourlucky to have that scenery...I live in FL...too many swamps and brush...but I love me home :P
Take Care man,
Art
Keep up ALL your good work Art's Art |

i like these a lot. you obvioulsy can at this point determine whats important and whats not. giving your sketches a first try, no mistakes, as few strokes as possible kind of feel. something i lack greatly. or maybe theyre just weak photo paintovers haha. |
