I like the simple look, however there are some problem areas...
1) her neck, you should shade it like it's a cylinder, with the gradient usually going from left to right (or right to left) and then you can add in the shading for the hair and stuff
2) you should make your lines, like those used to draw the nose and lips, vary in width, now I think you're using a mouse here, so if you want an easy way to do that, you just draw the black lines on a seprate layer then you go in and erase it so they are thin around the tips, and thick around areas which need more weight... |

Pretty cool. Very graphic. I would suggest using a vector based drawing program like Illustrator or Freehand for this type of image. The font isn't as strong a choice as it could have been. Also you may want to use the background color for the font as well.

Sort of what he said, plus:
-- Fix the anatomy/perspective problems.
-- Shade it much more dramatically, with more contrast and etc. It'll give a much more defined feeling to his face, and give it that legend-of-rock style.
-- Less Yoko Ono.
-- Fix the Jimmy Page font. Make it something bold and strong, and exaggerated horizontally a little. Make it a part of the picture, instead of something that was just thrown in there after you were done. |

Thanks a lot! I'm working on it now. Actually, this was the first time I was trying out this kind of art and I didn't have any guides to follow for the kind style. What kind of 'genre' would you classify this under? (I'm not an art student =P) Do you guys know of any sites where I can get ideas on how to work this stuff? |

yea, it a pretty cool style. kinda stencil. i dont know of any sites that can help. getting help from sites is gay anyways. unless its strictly technical. just do your own thing. kinda reminds me of the current mooks clothing campaign. |
