I first imagined a green bottle with a life saving...thing...ring...red/white round - you know what i mean...
But this is what i ended up with.
Crits/comments ...please? I would like some suggestions on the composition, though this is a "finished" work. (Like i finish pictures). The reference used was a standard looking bottle i took with a digital camera.

Please help me with another thing; The gamma/color settings!!
I look at my own monitor at home, and it looks just fine. (The monitor used when i painted it). But now I'm watching it with another monitor and it looks like CRAP!!
What is wrong? Please please help...
I tried to print it, but the image that came out looked like CRAP too...
That means my monitor/gamma/whatever settings at home are CRAP!! (tm)
Please, any suggestions...

Gamma looks fine here. Not a whole lot you can do, everyones monitor settings range from really bright to really dark.
Is this rendered or painted? Either way, excellent job. Looks great.

Thanks Sumaleth. It's painted.
First i had a picture with these three bottles, (without the pineapple) and i didn't know what to do with it. It looked so empty. I then painted the pineapple picture and pasted it onto the other image.
Yeah the gamma looks ok now. I fixed it somewhat, but the problem is still that this was done on my computer at home...And with my crappy monitor settings. |

very nice Henrik. Alot of love and care went into this one and it shows. Awesome! One very little thing - the pointy end on the red bottle has an outline which really stick out compared to the painted feel everything else has and ruins the transparency look to it. Maybe its just becasue the highlight is too strong??

henrik:
I visit your page from time to time and can never get it to do anything - I can get into the main page, but from there nothing seems to work. Does it not work in NS?

No i'm sorry. I doesn't work with Netscape i think. This is a big problem for me.
My homepage was done in late 99. It was done fast and not very carefully planned, just because i wanted to have a site.
And today my page is still built upon that bad ground. Back then I didn't really put much time into the design part, but i'd like to get my page done right some day.
So if there are any good web creators out there who want to do it for free, just contact me . |

This is great my friend! Good work! The only thing i like less is the cap on the left bottle, needs some more work. Btw, isnt pineapples more oval shaped?
The right bottle reminds me of an ant-eater... |

Great painting, The colors are excellent and the concept is well thought out. Those bottles just look spot on and the refelctions are great. Good work. |

The reflections looks good and quite real. Reminds me that I myself must try to paint glass objects and well, uuuh... I don't know the word in english so I write it in Swedish instead - Stileben - more frequently. I always draw from my mind which is not always good.
Looks great anyways, a bit surreal. |
