It looks nice, but he doesn't really look like Hannibal Lecter...

I hate the decadent lector, think I'm supposed too Hey, but what a picture!! Really great! And it seems if hannibal messed up his shirt with his last lunch

btw, I'm just browsing through you're website: I'm just through the life drawings - and I can only admire what I'm seeing ...looking forward to the rest of your site!

Looks like he has been interrupted during his meal. It does resemble A.Hopkins a little bit. I think the style is very cool, even his slightly misplaced right eye. Looks great.
Is this watercolor?

Hey veryone, Thanks soo much for lookin

ReSistanZ- thanks...i should say it is Anthony Hopkins as Hannibal...but whatever no excuses here, I'll try alot harder to hit the likeness on my next one.

Togusa- Thanks ! yeah..he's a messy eater...
thanks about the site too, I appreciate it very much!

burnout- Thanks dude!, any more like what??? I do many paintings of celebrities...but as for that specific style...with the blood drips..No, I try to make every piece as different as the subject. As for that technique..yes. Thanks for the comments. I am doing more illustrations as we speak..look for new stuff by Friday. ( I cant wait till you get stuff up on your site! love the dude on the front)

Neprow- Thanks...yeah A "little bit" guess I shoulda tried to hit the likeness before I painted ...I was just doing it for fun, from a 1" square reference photo, ittook me a couple hours...looks like I should spend more time next time on the likeness, Thanks It is Acylic and colored pencil.

Painted Melody- Thank you very much I hope to do more work...HAHA as soon as my nephew quits bugging me to play hockey in the streets, and Tony Hawk 2 on the playstation! ( i like the work you are doing )

Thanks to everyone for the comments, good and bad they help.

Hi u2art, looks very cool man, I really like the looseness of the shirt and b/g, nice colours too. Maybe the face is bit overworked?..

With the likeness I think it does look like hannibal maybe crossed with frank sinatra Definetely cool stuff. Look forward to more =)

Does this look like Frank Sinatra to anyone else?

maybe I need sleep. Either way, impressive piece! Not often do you see full on "caricatures" of celebs. Nowadays it's just kids tracing stuff out of Maxim. Kudos!!

It does ressemble Hopkins a little bit, you should fix that right eye that was mentioned before, and fix the colors a tad, it looks like he's been on the sun for way too long.

It does kinda look like a Cannibal Frank Sinatra But then again, so does Lecter/Hopkins.

I like the arty style of this, looks really nice! I think the top half looks like Hopkins and the bottom of Sinatra, but it kinda works as a whole. If you do a series of these different actors or,err...cannibals might be cool.

Hello Everyone, as ALWAYS THANKS!!!!

Cos- Thanks man. I have been developing that technique for awhile, i just saw how far I could take it, so yes, maybe a litle overworked. As for Sinatra!! HAHAAH, cool! I get that alot too! HAH, my sister said humphrey bogart....???dont know about him. HAH, thanks man.

Awetopsy- Thanks a heap man!!!

Salty Dog- Thanks. Sinatra yes...maybe i will just say it is Sinatra! HAHAHA, no, i'll take the shit for painting a bad hannibal.

FFNeX - Thanks for the input. I tried to make the picture disturbing by moving the eye over...I have been doing that lately...maybe I need help. And I tried to get a dark red bloody color on the face...maybe too dark, aye??? like I said I am an illustrator...so exact realism isnt really my thing ... The only thing I hate about Illustration is scanning. I could get a picture looking really close to the original but it'll take me like an hour on PS using levels, and color balance, so I just get it close enough. Most of my contact is done through mailers anyway....Thank you VERY much for the points though...they are well taken.

Morbid guy- Thanks!!!...cannibals aye?? series....hmmmm ...morbid..HAHA, do IT!

again thanks to everyone, very constructive and good points. I appreciate them all
