A pretty lengthy message but I hope everyone reads it!
Ok, well first off I want to say that I'm working on a site that I think most people here will like. I'm not going to go into any major details yet, but one of the aspects of the site is sort of "draw club" like... except hopefully I can hand out prizes. Not sure yet, so calm down I'm going to need various images based on different themes from artists so I figured it would be cool to make use of some of the ones we already have and then start a new one as well.
Anybody that has a green monkey, a mech from the mech thread, a gas mask, a super hero or any other themed thread we've done and you'd like to have it displayed on my site I'd appreciate it if you'd e-mail me. Just send me a link to the image, your name, a webpage if you have one and anything else you might find important
I'd also like image submissions for a couple of other themes if anyone has them or wants to do them. Feel free to post them here with the same information. I'll be working on mine as well... when I'm not working on my site
Here are three to choose from, take your pick: (thanks to 500 themes folks here!)
a sacred place
a roman priestess
space ship beaming up a moose in the middle of the night
Here's my mech for the mech thread... I never quite finished it And first off I want to say this isn't my design, it was done purely for practice with a new coloring technique and drawing mechanical shapes. I'm totally stuck in organic mode so I had to whip out some of my boyfriend's old mech book for help. Anyway... hope you all enjoy:
Sorry for the long message!!
Beth

Blitz - Well, if you don't feel like re-drawing a monkey just yet try something from one of those other themes I listed. I tried to choose things that would have a little something for everyone.
Oh, and here are the lines for those curious:
And here's another mech from the same book I drew out. Experimenting with lines and stuff
Themes again are:
- a sacred place
- a roman priestess
- space ship beaming up a moose in the middle of the night
I think they should be interesting to do... you gotta love that moose one! ![](images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif) |

Cool Jezebel. I think I'm going to have a shot at the moose or mech one tonight when I get home.
Or maybe green monkey aliens dressed in roman priestess garb beaming up a moose mech from a sacred place...nah, that would be a bit much. I'll stick with the moose one methinks.

Well, here's my shot. Quite sloppy & messy (~45min scetch) and lot's of mistakes but what the heck:
MooOO00!! (I think they sound like that)
[realism]
Note how realistically the bugs gather around the bright light.
[/realism]
edit: ------
I wasn't satisfied with my moose; added more detail (mainly to the ship) and tried to fix lighting. It's still sloppy (no surprise).
Oh, the permission mumbo-jumbo: yes, you may do anything you want with this one (except remove/modify/hide the moose of course).

I just want to make sure that everyone who is posting these images is ok with me putting them on my site. I want to make sure I have permission.
Any older images like green monkeys and mechs and stuff can be e-mailed ( [email protected] ) to me, unless it's new. There's no reason to repeat what's already been done

Those moose pics are great everyone! This was really fun to do! Can you see a movie cross between Bullwinkle and Fire in the Sky:
Moose: "Nothin' up my....sleeves"
Rocky:"Awww that trick never works!"
Jez! - Post away! I made this especially for you.

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww yeah! I got a synj moose!
All these moose images are so funny. Each one is great in it's own unique way. Thanks for posting them everyone. I can't wait to get them on my site. The ones responding to my threads are helping me out SO much and I really appreciate it.
Well, I personally have done 2 out of the 3 themes listed and I'm about to start a 3rd. A sacred place. This will probably be the hardest for me. *grumbles* But it will be good practice.

Here's my feeble attempt...
Few perspective problems, and lack of detail, but i'm still new to this sort of thing, and it only took me an hour...not sure if everyone will get it.
[edit] buggered up my link
