It may just be me, but I've noticed the loading problem too Not only in this thread but with all of the other critical-depth.net image posts aswell. I hope they get this worked out, or possible upgrade to a faster server. I don't mean to offend Indepth, but unless they're having some server trouble at the moment, it might be a good idea to try having your images hosted elsewhere.
But before doing so, you should probably tell Indepth your experiencing speed problems and see what he has to say.

Cool image bytheway

Reminds me of that Disney cartoon "TailSpin". Which for some odd reason was one of my favorites.

Hip !!!
Hurra !!!

At last I could see more pics of those funny animals !!!

Are you going to use the same characters than in that old pencil drawing that I love so much or will they be a new cast ?

You can be sure that I really want to check that comicbook !!!

Simply cant wait !!!

man it took forever to load. you need to get that fixed agent...oh wait, this is my post.
yeah, indepth knows about the problem and they say they're on it.
I loved tailspin too. Maybe, this picture is a subconscience homage to it.

Sempere - yeah, those same characters will be in it too.

Wow, great artwork, took forever to load, but it's well worth it.

Just one thing though, looks like the plane is just "floating" there, I mean I don't see anything holding it and it looks like the engines are off...is there an explanation for it? Looking forward to that comic.

Love it! Very impressive. The whole scene is really well done, but for some reason I just especially like that little fuel tank on the left. More?

Whoa.. thats sweet! damn, I haven't seen a really fun comic image like that in a while! Nice, congrats and I think your comic will rock.

Beatiful rendering on the plane, and nice stuff on the lodge too. I feel however that your other aspects are letting you down. The lack of development and rendering on the characters, clouds and background show, maybe just to another artists eye, but you dont really want to detract from otherwise fantastic rendering.

A+ for the concept, thats really friggin cool. TailSpin yeah...

Keep it up, and make sure you tell us all about your comic.

Cool design Really nice.

-
It seems a bit inconsistant in terms of linewidth, some are sharp and some are blury. Colors are a bit dirty and unsaturated.

heh, I love it. The stripped paint looks great! Do you have a specific technique for that or is it simply drawn?

Cool! Makes me think of Frezzato's "Keepers of the Maser" series.

Uh... how are these guys getting on and off the plane? Maybe throw a ladder in the background? Also, I think you missed putting in a thin line of color for the top of the gangplank...it does not match the perspective of the ground near the doorway as it is.

your stuff always rocks.

[fixed typo]

Ah, lovely work.

I immediately think of Skies of Arcadia for Dreamcast when I see it.

To differentiate from Skies. I'd advise having the heavier mountains sink deeper into the sky than the lighter ones. Make some spire-shaped mountains too, and maybe some irregularly club-shaped ones that stand vertical. Wow, you made me imagine things I haven't thought of before.

Thanks everyone for your comments and thoughts.
I was out of town all weekend so I havn't had a chance to respond until now.

Waldo- Thanks, I really try hard to post good stuff.

gLitterbug- great I'll marke you down for one.

sear- thanks

Simon Gustafsson- me too, I was kinda going for a story book feel.

Rinaldo- I hope so.

FFNeX- umm, it just floats.

visual myriad - did that fuel tank just for you

Collosimo- thanks I'll try to work on that in the future.

ANJ-77- yeah, it started out as a sketch that I ended up just coloring, dso the lines are "sketchy"

BoBo_the_seal - simply drawn

Red Leader - They just jump on and off. I better put a ladder in.

Sergenth - thanks I, I want to keep it uniqu so that helps.
