Okay I know a ton of you are Mountain Dew drinkers. Okay you belong to MDA! So has the new CODE RED hit your area? Honestly what do you think about it?

This is what I found out already:
    * most Normal Mt. Dew drinkers don't like it
    * You either like or you don't
    * Many people who don't like Mt. Dew like Code Red and drink a ton of it (my mother)
    * It tastes like a type of lemonaide
    * It leave a really weird after taste
    * My brother bought the last 8 in my town and we were without for about a week
    * bolks (6 packs, 2 litters, etc.) will be marketed in my area around June
    * Our Pepis plant ran out of Code Red in less than a week
    * you drink it and laugh it does hurt coming out of your nose
    * It has it's own web site
    * Many say it's only going to be around for a short time (much like crystal clear Pepis. Anyone know where you can buy Crystal Clear anymore?)

That's all I know about it. I myself like it... but I don't drink a ton of it.

I've never heard of this Code Red that you speak of. But your ideas are intriguing to me, and I would like to subscribe to your newsletter.

Does drinking Mountain Dew really lower a mans testosterone? If it does that means you are all sissies with no sex drive!! (I'm probably wrong..)

You can't get Mountain Dew in Finland. Reason enough to leave the country, as I'm doing in a year.
Kee-rist I could go for some Dew right about now...

heh, i know it's not true, i just like to mention it to ppl that just have the dew can in their mouth and see their reaction.... here's the actual info:

F D & C Yellow No. 5 (also known as tartrazine) is an approved food color.
According to the Food Additives Handbook it is mildly toxic by ingestion (at levels in excess of 14 micrograms per kilogram of body weight). The potential effects in humans relate to changes in the teeth and bones in the oral cavity and not to any effects on reproductive organs. It has been associated with reproductive effects in rats at levels of 20 milligrams/kilogram body weight, 1.8 grams/kilogram body weight and 18.5 grams/kilogram body weight. There would be no way that a human would ever be exposed to that much of that food color. Even the 14 micrograms per kilogram of body weight that may cause toxicity in humans far exceeds any level that a human would encounter. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) which approves food additives constantly monitors research on food additives and will remove food additives from the market if they are found to be harmful for humans. So, you can be assured that this additive is safe at levels people could possibly eat.

That is an urban legend. There hasn't been any proof to that. Its all a rumor. There is also a rumor that it reduces sperm count. Do you really think that after 50 some odd years they would still make a product that has that effect? It all stems from the fact they used a yellow dye when the originally made the product and some of the dyes were unhealthy. That was like 5 decades ago. They didn't shrink your penis then either (also the rumor is it shrinks the testicles.. not the penis). I drink it every morning instead of drinking coffee... NOTHING is shrinking.

The thing I think is hilarious is how many college students believe this. I'm sure their parents are really happy with financing those educations.
