My heart grows cold,
like autumn leaves.
Bright red, but covered
with frost.
If I am not your friend,
who is?
Does the wind bear a taint
of lies?
If I close my eyes,
I see the truth.
Nothing escapes my pain,
I embrace it.
All those words,
a waste of breath, I see.
All those truths
were but crystals of ice.
So clear, so sweet.
So brittle.
My mind grows quiet,
like a mirror already broken.
The spell is already cast,
the pieces scattered.
I had no inspiration for the longest time. And then, with a flicker, this one came to mind. I hope you enjoy it =) |

It's always exciting too see when u post
something. And this one is really nice.
Like the sad expression on her face and that
bizarre backround. Almost hypnotised me.
For some reason her wings just don't looks so
real. Look like furry and not feather.
Maybe it's just me??? |

Everything I said on ICQ...and a green monkey.... *Blinks sleepily* It's very delicate, this one, isn't it? The hair looks soft & smooth.... The only thing I'd point out is that the skin seems textureless, compared to the rest of the picture...but that could be detail lost in the shrinking of the picture, too.
I like it. |

The "textureless" skin doesnt disturb me, but the back where the wings should connect to the body seems too blurry and it looks like the wings are more on the right side of her body and not really attached to her back. |

Great idea Enayla! Only your inspiration could think of something like this.
I think the skin is allright, and your hair is still the best of the forum.
The only thing that seems a bit odd for me are the wings: they look more furry than feathered, but maybe that was your intention. I still remember those dragonfly wings you made some time ago...amazing! |

Good work as usual from you. The face is my favourite part. No important crits this time... Maybe the pic looks a little unbalanced. It bothers me for some reason 'cause there is so much room on the right side.

Heeeh, thanks everyone! Fixed a few things, hope it looks better now.
Ooh, and yes, they wings were supposed to look a bit furry - soft like silk to the touch.
The red x that popped up a minute ago can be blamed on the fact that I just replaced the picture... |

Amazing
Fantastic
Ecstatic
Absolutely beautiful
I like it
I would love to see the opposite thing. A fallen angel, the same beautiful but dark and goth.
Keep up the good work |

Beautiful pic as your pictures always are. The effect above her knees seems somehow "off perspective", if you know what I mean... |

Excellent pic! I'd make her hand not so wide, since women, especially petite women tend to have very narrow, slender hands. Love the drapery...you might want to check how you are saving this, since it took a *long* time to load, and I am on cable modem. One program that I find to be amazing for converting to JPG or GIF is called 'smartsaver' from ulead.com. It is only $30, and well worth it...I *love* this program..you will get tiny files sizes and you can exactly control the quality to compression ratio.
Bravo.

very pretty indeed.
i like the ora ring on her knees
i think her forarm shouldn't be so thick, even if it's pressed against her thighs.
lovely, ma'am. |
