i'm really feeling the watercolor. the soft edges are sexcallent, as in excellent with an extra s. maybe it's just me, but the way some of the highlights on the bed drawing are positioned, it looks like two heads really close and facing eachother. it would be really cool if that were on purpose

Excellent. You've got a great sense of value and material/texture here.

sock: Thanks. I feel that the bed was one of the most successful pieces of the summer... I hope my instructor feels that my wooden puppet was at least acceptable heh...

Sumz: thanks

sacrelicious: Thank you. I definitely make it a goal to create a sense of the texture and material.

Victor Villan: I'm not quite sure what Marcel Duchamp's R. MUTT urinal has to do with anything in this thread. When R.MUTT was originally entered for exhibition, it was rejected because Duchamp didn't include his name anywhere on the piece, and so they thought it was crap. Then, finding out that Marcel Duchamp actually did the piece made its value skyrocket...

Bombesei: I'm glad you like the ink wash. Unfortunately, my leaf ink wash received a lower grade than any other project I've done... my instructor didn't like its composition. I didn't purposely put 2 heads facing eachother, but that doesn't mean it can't be there heh.... It's good to hear what sorta crazy things people see in the wrinkles.

The TP drawing is fantastic. I think the shadows are done particularly well. I'm also very fond of the head/sleeping person. Hmm, it's pretty tough to give a helpful crit without seeing the actual references/still life's, but all the drawings seem to be quite succesful.

Where are you studying at the moment?
