Hi, I just got a Wacom 9*12, this is my second pic ever with it. A few of you know me around here, and probably haven't seen any of my stuff, thats because I haven't actually posted pics yet... and I dont have a host!
Anyway, like I said new to Wacom, and new to Photoshop. This is a Char designed by Rick and lineart by him aswell. I just coloured and shaded him as was required. |

Yeah, Rick who did the lineart, he is a graffiti artist... doesn't actually graffiti cos that's vandalism. He draws in his sketckbook all the time though. I'll probably post more of his stuff over time, or encourage him to come here and join in.
I guess I decided to colour it in a simple way, comic style, simple... it lends itself to graffiti art too. |

Dragon82: LOL those are some pretty dope poses going on there... LOL I'm sure Rick would like to see them..
Anyone got any Crits?? ot on the drawing itself... just on the rendering? Keep in mind the colours and the glowing eyes idea were specified to me by Rick. I just rendered it. |

Hi Collosimo, i like how you rendered the shadows of the skate and the right arm (his) on the body. My crit is that the body doesn't seem to have the same light "intensity" as the head. This is more noticeably in his hand wich is kinda dark while the hat just next to it has bright colors. Just my 2 cents. |

Hi Grendal..
Thx for your comments... its hard to get them in this forum! so many posts... it's all spread thinly.
I hadn't really noticed that thx. The beanie and mask are supposed to be silver. Thats why they are bright... maybe its not right though. Any more thoughts on that?
Oh yeah, and thats a Boom Box. Doh everybody calls it different things! hmm... I'll have to tell Rick to make his lineart clearer.
IF anyone was wondering... there is no background because I only rendered it and am giving it to Rick who will finish it into a personal cd cover. |
