Meet my dwarf Gandork Mightysword. He just finished off some stinkin trolls in Windspear hills, and he's feeling pretty damn good about it. =D
I made this after seeing some sketches of dwarfs on this board. (there were really nice)
So I thought I'd make some myself and confront Enayla and her elven horde!! hehehe
I know I could have done a better job with his legs... oh well I'll fix that next time.
Command & Conquer are welcome...

cool pic, but he doesn't seem to be stocky enough. If I'm not mistaken, the AD&D 3rd edition player's guide (yup, I'm an uber-nerd) has some proportional studies of the different races, it's a pretty good help |

I think you should check the face angle again. It seems like each side of the turns at a different angle. Esspecialy the nose, but esspecialy the mouth.
Other then that, the horns are badly arranged and the axe is at a wierd angle...
Still, it's an amazing pic.
p.s.
the arrows could use some coloring... |

Excellent picture.
I think if you darkened your shadows in some places it might bring the picture more into the 3rd dimension. Right now it's kind of washed out. |

Hey Francis arigato- for the repaint!
I see what you mean about the darks. What I wanted to do was to give the impression of a sandy-windy area. I'll upload this dude when I get the time to edit him.
I want to polish this one reeeealy good. Any comments are welcome!
