I like the first one better, if only because the lighting seems seems more consistent from foreground to background. The 2nd one...I can't place my finger on it but something just doesn't seem right. To me, it seems like the lighting doesn't seem to fit, but hey, whadda i know?

That said, they're great pics. Gotta love those gloves especially.

I also vote for #1. The luminosity of it all seems more appropriate and suits the lighting on the model better.

PS - looking at the pictures again, I think you should perhaps get those lips to blend in a little better with the face, either by adding 'dimples' or such on the lip corners or such... they seem a little TOO sharp and high contrast right now. Nice work.

Ssssslurp! I love the sexy hair and the red markings on her face. I think my favourite bit is the gloves, though. They are very tight. The sharp highlights work really well. Hm...I want some gloves like those.

I'd love to see you do some more detailed backgrounds some time. (Not, of course, that your figures aren't great. I'm a big fan of that slick graphic style. But scenery's cool, too.)

Thanx for the help in decision all.
Frost- i dunno dude, I fixed it in the PS file and reuploaded it, but you can hardly tell in here..good eye though.
Socar- the other one sorta had scenery. I'm not really a scenery kinda guy..and I worry that toomuch will take away from the girls.

Hey very nice, I like your girls Fallen, and always have. I save them everytime...

Did you use reference for the gloves?? or any principles or tips for us on how you did them?? I was just wondering if you had some advice for that particular type of material...

keep up the good work.

PS: You should repost the other pic so we can crit it too, otherwise you wont get some valuable advice in return...

Yikes, this is one of my favourites of your pictures! (Right next to the lady with the spider - you probably know which one I mean!)

The look in her eyes is really what I love the most =) They have a real impact.

Very nice although...her arms, hands, hair and face look realer than her shoulders and legs.

But seriously cool...but I think you know that already

Collissimo- no advice really, its just built up airbrush. it always looks wrong when your zoomed in doing it, but it all comes together in the end.
Andromeda-nope
kohse-thanx
Enayla- ya, i know the one. Same model. I enjoy painting her look, but i think i need to move on to others.
dementia7- ya, that was wierd for me while i was doing it..i had just as much contrast and detail in the shoulders and legs, but it looked off..I wanted her face and armw to be more focused and more in the foreground, however i didnt want to just blur the legs and shit, so i just went back and made them a little lighter and less detailed. Guess it doesn't do the trick.

EDIT: spelling.

I like it. I really like your style - very clean and stylish. Reminds me of the 80's airbrush commercial paintings. In my former art school library we had a book of those paintings - and your works could fit onto them perfectly, and even be one of the best there.

Sure I'm late on my response but "so what!?" I must honor this picture with a reply, you're shading smoothness is second to none, I don't know how you managed to do so well on the gloves, but they're amazing.

"Good show ol' chap"
