ah...hello. As you know this is my first post and I put up some of my favorite pics. These were sketched and inked by hand, and then colored with Paint Shop Pro. I have only colored a few pics and learn new stuff every time so hopefully these will be improving. The first was based on counter-strike and second is Seung Mina from Soul Calibur. Crits are welcome.

Sorry I just tore off a piece of the guys face in the upper pic. Here’s the missing piece.
Real sorry man. Won't happen again.
The girl in the bottom is nice. I like her shoes. =] |

Kazz: LOL!
Yeah, the first thing that caught my attention was that guy who had dropped his jaw (I tried to figure out the face structure) and after that my eyes traversed to the fingers, the one on the trigger to be exact. But these are just small details and overall, I'd say 'tis definitely not mediocre manga stuff.

hey well you definitely have some interesting ideas. I think the perspective on the girl with the sword is a little off. Her head seems to be coming from a different direction than her feet. As well the characters fingers are a little "Tubey" lookin and the lighting is a little stiff.
In any case I do like the ninja girl one...nice shoes.
Couldn't help but noticing the striking resemblance in your TDL logo face to one of the main characters from Megatokyo.com
You have anything to do with that? Just curious. |

Thx for the crits dementia. You are right about the megatokyo style. It's such a great style and I needed a new sig. Thats sopposed to be self-portrait, unfortunately I seem to bear a striking resemblence to Piro. Think I should change it? I would like to avoid an "stneil777" ah...scenario. |

I've just recently become a fan of Megatokyo myself. I think I will be seeing them at A-Kon in like a month or so. Just making an observation either way or...it looks nice.
Although I would say it might be good to make something a little different...like that Ninja girl would be really nice. To avoid any confusion later on |

Thx for the replies guys. About the guys jaw, his head waas orginally meant to be tilting at a downward angle, but unfortunately, it didnt come out very well.
Awetopsy: Thanks for the tutorial link. I'm still learning and that does help alot.
A.Buttle:....yep
