Well, here's the only complete image I did over the "vacation," in fact the only finished image I've done in a while. And yup, it sucks. But hey, at least I accomplished something!
It's supposed to be the visage of my favorite Black and White character/god, Azathoth. The seeing eye is Azathoth's symbol. Yes, the name is stolen from H.P. Lovecraft's mindless daemon sultan- and my creature's name is Nyarlathotep. I'm a dork. Sue me. Oh yeah, crits and comments welcome. |

Good job. I have never been able to get anything to look good using only black and white like that. |

So,
If I were to sue you, on what grounds would it be? Loserdom? Will that hold up in court? |

Nice image. I've been trying to do the same things with the basic-ness of values too, it has a nice effect once it's all finished. |

Well, it may not be a masterpiece, but I like it. |

I like it. Reminds me of African art.
The only thing I can suggest is to round off a few of those edges perhaps the chin and the top of the head. |

This could almost become a mark or logo for new media company...it has that feel. Nice pos/neg work. |

Hey everybody, thanks for the comments! Yeah, this definitely isn't a masterpiece, but I liked it enough to post. Originally I wanted to do a more realistic b&w piece but wound up with this stylized look. I kind of liked working with just black and white, and negative space. Maybe I'll try it again in the future. |
