Hey man, I really dig your style! You've got a knack for that whole cel animation look.
I've always wanted to do my own take of these characters. I love your Tinman, although it looks more like steel than tin. The lion is pretty huge. Man, that's a big pussy! Or he used to be one?(Sorry, couldn't resist!)
Keep up the awesome work! |

Nice interpretation of the tinman. I like the animation cel style of colouring I don't think I've seen this style from you before.
The Lion looks strong and courageous as opposed to the comical look in the film and I like the way Toto's just concentrating on the bone.
Cool piece. |

These are fantastic designs agent44 and really well drawn.
I hope you don't mind, but I just thought that the colouring was letting this piece down just a tiny bit, so I'm just suggesting perhaps a richer environment and palette to bring the designs to life. Maybe it's dusk and they're using the TinMan's heart as a reading lamb for the map.
Again, great drawing and character designs. Hope you keep investigating these further!

Great style Agent, very crisp and neat. I think it would look great with a background too. |

well, I really apreciate everyones comments. I think a few of you asked how I do this style of coloring. It is actually very simple.
I set my line drawing on top to multiply layer.
Then I set two layers beneath it one for the base color and the other for the shadow.
I use the brush tool set at 100% to color.
visual myriad- let me just say, WOW! please don't stop there do the whole piece!
I really like the mood you set. It's stuff like this that makes me stop and realign myself. |
