I'm so happy it's up again - and though there are things I might not like (like the Graemlins) I love the fact that it's here... and hopefully here to stay.

So, to celebrate this fact, I'll post a character portrait I worked on while the forum was down. I know a lot of people like how I draw skin nowadays - and the skin on this one has no texture... but problem is, the character does have skin smooth as porcelain - it's one of his main traits. So what is a girl to do?

I'll also post a picture I made for a very, very dear friend of mine - simple because it's most likely the most cutsey thing I've ever done :) (Don't kill me!)

Ooooh, and a third image - I'm not sure if I like this one yet though... I might not. Just thought I'd share it anyway =)

(I promise and swear I won't flood the first page - just let my Cursed thread bounce all the way down, I won't bump it up... I just felt I wanted to post a few pictures to celebrate the forum coming back online =D )

I love the gruesomeness of the third one...the body split in the middle where the clothes ought to join the flesh, and the mottled, stony skin.... And the foamy textures in the background and the clothing are beautiful.

I think my favourite bit is the vaguely contemptuous look on his face. The seahorse-ish border's a nice touch, too.

Breathtaking....the way you portrait hair is just so...breathtaking...I don't know of a better word for it...

The cartoon is also very good IMO, much like your self portrait a while back...

/me feels his own face...mmmm, jagged porcelain

Wow, simply beautiful images.
I love how you get it so tight and crisp, but still make it alive. that's something I have a lot of trouble with.

Wow, I love the first one especially. You wouldn't happen to have a larger version of him that I could use as my desktop wallpaper? I love you choice of colors, the pictures just seem so alive...

Hey! These are really nice. I really love 'em. There is just ONE thing that bugs me about the first one. For some reason the eyes are annoying me. It's an incredibly subtle detail but it's there. They don't seem to be looking in the same direction.

/feel free to shoot me now.

The 3rd one looks great, i like the space here, why not try a whole body? The clothing and swirly bits are really making a nice context.

I really LOVE the first and specially the last one. Such clean rendering. The last one has somewhat of a surreal aura. I really dig it

Its nice to see your take on darker type characters, the painting itself speaks so much by itself...
dig it !

JeanJean: I'm glad you think so =)

Socar MYLES: *beams* Thank you. I'm thrilled that someone noticed the look I was aiming for in his face =)

MrPumpernickel : Hair is my favourite part of the picture. Thank you...

Rinaldo: *bows* I can't see you having a problem with /anything/, truth to be told ;)

L99Relm: Not uploaded right now, no - I'll try to mail one to you when I get the time.

EviLToYLeT: *laugh* I love creeping people out! http://medlem.tripodnet.nu/enayla/kathesun-big.jpg]Another creepy one ;)

S4Sb: *chuckle* As pointed out below, no I didn't. I can always wish I had, though, can't I? ;)

EviLToYLeT: Heheh...

Ian: Why should I shoot you? I think you're right. I tried fixing it, but I just couldn't get it to look right =/ I'll try again =)

Fallen: Thankee =)

Rroam: Jag rockar allt vad jag kan ;D

PlantMan: Well... *coughs* Truth to be told - I suck at drawing full figures =(

TheMilkMan: *beams* Thank you - that is truly high praise!

Tommy: I'm a colour freak =) Deciding colour schemes for my pictures is one of my favourite pastimes - honestly. Thing is, that character is one of my roleplaying games characters... that's what he looks like. "Tall, beautiful... pale like a winter day. The soft features like feather-whispers of snow upon a canvas... and those eyes touched by the blue shadows of arctic cold."

Visigoth: Heh, thank you =D

Luci: *beams* Thank you! l*..

visual myriad: Danke =D

Nick2k: Portraits are what I am best at =) Thank you.

Seph|roth: Thank you! I'll see if I can dig myself into another dark, vicious character soon... heehehee...

Nova: I'm trying my best =) Thank you.

FireWalker: Well, that was my point, a bit... the third one does have textures, the first one is smooth like a baby =)

Blitz: *blip bzzz blip bzzz - sounds of the art factory* Heeh, thank you Blitz =)

Spooky: =D

Nadab: I sure will!

Enayla your work has improved so much..

Im loving it all..

Great first picture I like it alot.

The ligthing really goes well with the figure.

Great stuff..

I dont like your Cutesy pic... Not really my thing if you know what i mean. Keep at them though... I can see potential in that style.

You have a very defined style and I really like it. I would hire you full time professionally if I needed you for any illustration work. I think these pices would be good to add to your portfolio.

The last picture is also very good. Again the lighting is superb

keep up the good work and keep on pumping out those paintings..

Freddio: This is certainly high praise, coming from you =) I always strive to improve - perhaps too much, sometimes, because all the "improvements" aren't really improvements. Sometimes it's a matter of taking a step back and realising that I was doing something better before and need to go back again. I hope I will some day work professionally with this kind of art... I'll see what happens. Again, thank you.

(Heh, and it's a guy... *grin*)

CaptainCool: *points above* A guy. Oh, and thank you =)
