It has been a couple of weeks since I last posted. Last week I worked 70 hours and the week befor 64. These drawing were done inbetween there some were. For me thats alot of hours. Im going to cut it down to around 50 or so this week. But its just so hard to do that when you love what you do.
The last one is a reject on a game level I drew up. The game designer didnt seem to have much need for this one. So hay! Ill post it here. All others are just for fun and to try and stay loose. Release some of that streas that can build up when working on a computer all day. Have I said enough?

Wow! Those are some pretty stressed out and mean looking monsters! Looks like they are determined to not let any passers by through their door!! =)

Great detail! Some of the best I've seen......especially liked lij and expression on the female monster. Didn't quite understand what you were going for on the last one.

I like these... for some reason, they remind me of the "Lost in Space" architechture (from the newer movie, not the old show)...Keep up the good work!

Nice work dood. One suggestion tho.....when you are doing those heavy outlines.....you don't need to outline the entire drawing. This tends to flatten them out...and make them look kinda cartoony. Use your line weights more as focus points. Take that crane-lift vehicle for example....since the crane is closer to the the viwer's eye, put a heavier line weight around that and fade it into the rest of the body. You'll get more depth this way.

Take a look at Francis' recent post...he does a great job of this =)

nice work...

Yo! Feng!- Thanks for the input. I must say that your work has influensed me a whole bunch, ever since I ran accross your site about 3 months ago. I even have a print out of one of your pictures hanging on my wall. I also just bought a realy cool book called the art of starwars episode one. Lots of nice consept work.

Im going to keep in mind your sugestions on line wait and ill work on that. Im not to pleased with the second picture. The one that hanna thought was a girl monster. I think your right about the lines but also the head on that one is kind of larg and would look better being smaller. I was going for a kind of "cartoony" look for the trucks but think it would do me good to try for a more realistick aproch on my next drawings, keeping perspective in mind.

Goth- thanks for the compliment. I thought the movie sucked but it had some pritty good special effects.

Great pics, I love hand drawn stuff.
Feng i went to your site, and went to your materials section, i got everything but the elipse stencil. What i am curios abit though is what does the Prismacolour Marker do? I have it in 40% warm grey.
As soon as i buy i am scanner you will see how crap my drawing's are but as i am only 16 i hope to get better as i draw more and more.
