For my money, the sketches are more interesting than the top images. They have a lot of potential and energy. I think the top image could use some more colors. The last image is kicking it. |

Optical, glad you liked the top one.
GreenPeach, yeah I think I agree with you that the sketches have more life,
I think I overworked it way too much and killed off a lot of potential
I think it had earlier on. I seem to do that a lot. Nevermind you live and learn.

The top one is a little dark but its cool. In the second one the guy's head seems to short width wise. The third's composition is a little cliche but it is also a very hard thing to make look real. So I think it is a good try but you need more implied action. The last one is definetly my favorite. You have nice colors going, a nice composition, the expression is cool and the guy has a lot of character. This all makes the picture very intresting. I like it.

I like 'em all. The running guy is a bit stiff perhaps. I like the second one with the energy/light thingy on his chest. Is that a weapon a flashlight...? The last one is just too cool. Heh heh.

Hipmix, Dixter, Trudel thanks a lot, glad you liked them,
Wakestarr, cheers there aint nothing wrong with you I probably profer the last one too, I'm not sure if I'm gonna work on these
any further tho, but if I do I'll definetly put them here.
Hey Frosty mate, whats been going on man thanks, been a long time. Heh, heh.
Cheers Thrush, yeah I agree the guy does look kinda stiff when I look at him now,
the flashing thing is some sort of equipment strapped to him, hey flashlights is
good, I never thought of that. ;P
Eric cheers, I agree about making things look real is a very difficult thing and it's
something I work at very hard to try to get even close to. I think my work is usually
lacking action and is from not very interesting perspectictives making it look a little stale and it's another thing I have to work on I think. Thanks for the crits.
Dizzy girl thanks very much My stuff always comes out dark for some reason
, I think if I did cute bunny rabbits they would look like they wanted to eat you or something, heh, heh.
I thought I'd add another one I did, this time painting on a texture. Not sure which
style I prefer.

that last pic is so awesome. I love that machine in the background. The only thing I don't like is the guy in the really close foreground. He is creating a shape that cuts off the corner of the picture. You might want to play with it a little more to get the colors into the face to make that corner flow or even change the way the face is put or nothing at all. I think this is your coolest pic yet! Very sweet.
