I did this as a simple character drawing when I got inspired by the Mummy (I can't wait for part 2!), but some of you guys out there could do something really nice and cool, maybe start a Egyptian Gods/Warriors theme?

Ancient Egypt is extremely cool, and so is this pic. And by the way, it's "nipples", not "breasts".

Beautiful Background ! Its soo dry and warm! You probably intended it this way, but his 2 nostrels look "pig like" The B&W sketch looks better in the nose area. Then again, you may have meant the nose to look this way, if that is so, Dont listen to me

and keep on making great stuff!

Ancient Egypt is really cool, yeah... Have your read the Otherland series? Not all about Ancient Egypt, but I still think about it when I see this pic... oh yeah, the pic.
I think the painting is really, really cool, even though I agree that the nose looks a bit... piggish

but don't have a clue how I would do Anubis if I drew him from the front, so... And Ive always thought of Anubis as thinner... but then again, I think of most imaginary people as pretty thin.. hhm..

I wouldn't change a thing. The 'pig' skull-nose makes it look nicely sinister without being too overly evil.

In mythology, Anubis wasn't a bad guy (it was Set who was the real badass), so I'd keep him looking ambiguous, like you don't know what his true intentions are...

Ok about the "pignoze"...it's supposed to be a snout, like a dog or something. I did another drawing from the side, I will post that one also.

little blurry, nice colours though. I would make his eyes filled with white instead of black.
