Dahm fine design. Great painting too. I could have sworn it was a 3d model at first.
All you gotta do now is build it for real!

Very nice! I like the big grip...

The only illustrative crit I have is focused within the recessed rectangle near the base. The perspective is off on the shadow, and on the 2 little screws/rivets. There are other little areas that stray from perspective, but if you fix this stuff the others probably won't be noticeable.

Also, if you're going for Star Wars accurate, your saber needs an activation button, a blade length adjustment knob, and a blade power adjustment knob too.

LOL, somebody named Red Leader would know that! No offense there, RL. Oh yeah, and great work Ascan!

*sighs*
Yeah, yeah...I color many of the SW comic series for Dark Horse. You pick up all sorts of geeky conversation killing SW trivia after a few years of it.
"Do you know HOW many types of electrobinoculars there are in the star wars universe??"

Blek.

Good Job, but the Lightsabers in Star Wars have a bit more detail on top. Seriuosly though, it reminded me of some of Star Wars original concept art by Ralph (whatever his last name was)!
